Well I made it two days waking up early and then this morning I got out of bed at 5am and not even Suzy wanted to get up with me...So I crawled right back in bed and snuggled with man hands. Now as a result I am sleepy today (but worth it for some snuggle time)

I'm speechless, not only did I just receive my first blog award from Little Grey Fox I also got another one from { bug miscellany }! Thank you so much ladies! Both of you have and continue to inspire me everyday to be more creative and I laugh more because of you.

I started my blog in January not really knowing why, I just wanted some where to put my thoughts and dreams and goals. As I got to reading other blogs I realized there is so many others doing the same thing and reading them all inspires me more and more to go out and get what I want out of my life and that I am OK with who I am and that's OK.

I'm gonna keep it short and simple...and the award goes too...

New Beginings...

4:45 this morning I woke up and ACTUALLY got out of bed with man hands and while he showered I made him lunch and some tea for sister and me. Once man hands was off to work (totally surprised I was up and made him lunch) sister and I did some yoga and hung out till it was time for me to shower and head off to work. It feels so good to be awake! I have one month till my 28th birthday and I want to lose a few more lbs (at the least) and be a morning person, so I am trying my hardest to change...My friend Robin said it takes 28 days to make a good habit and just a couple to break it.

My grandfather (Papa) passed away right before Thanksgiving 2008. It was really hard on me to see him in the hospital and knowing it would be the last few moments I would ever spend with him and to say goodbye to someone you love so dearly. He loved birds and always had food out for them and houses. He gave me a music box with a humming bird on it a few years ago. So when I noticed humming birds flying in the trees in my back yard I was so excited. I made some sugar water food for a feeder and hung it on my deck hoping they would be attracted to it and eat, well they did! It makes me so happy to be sitting on my deck and watch the humming birds flutter around. (I named them Fredrick and Barbara)

I couldn't believe it stopped on the wire and hung out for a bit...we have a new friend for sure.

As you know this weekend was our "we're Shacking up BBQ" and it was a big hit! Lots of love and fun. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.

I came home yesterday to a new friend that made a home in my dining room. Normally i am scared of spiders but this was just so cute, how he spun his web right in the middle of the room all in one day...amazing.

my sister then came over and took it down and set him free....

oh and I have humming birds! I will get some pics and blog all about the humming birds (I named then Fredrick and Barbara) Also 1 day till our big "were shacking up" BBQ! It's going to be a fun weekend!

Al's little brother is getting married September 4th 2010 and I desperately need to lose some lbs and find a dress to wear. Since Al is going to be in the wedding I would like something that will look just as nice as his suit...but its really hard. The colors of the wedding are purple so I would like to NOT match the bridesmaids but the Bride said purple is fine...here are a few dresses I have my eye on.

Happy Birthday Cake!

I absolutely adore dandelions, ever since I was a child. Picking them and making wishes watching the seeds fly through the wind. I never understood wanting them out of your yard (till I had my own yard) but when a sneaky one pops up I am still right there picking it and making a wish.

This weekend was a busy one and turned out to be wonderful! After breaking down in a hormone induced fit I decided it wasn't worth the stress and crying to finish everything that night and I will then buy the cupcakes and finish the banner before the baby gets here in a couple months...

My Nana's 70th Birthday was a blast! It was so good to see my family and my cousin Catherine FINALLY got to meet Al.

After that we decided we were going to have a few friends over for a BBQ and board games. We went home and needed to clean and for the first time someone besides my sister helped me clean the whole house and i didn't have to tell him what to do. It was a breath of fresh air! I had time to string up some lights on our deck and a friend helped Al with the tiki torches his mom gave to us.

 I LOVE MY DECK!

Sunday was softball and then Al and i came home and spent some time outside before true blood started at 9. So I tool some more pictures for my etsy shop and decide to take some pictures of the Ivy growing all over my yard. Its a pain to deal with but it sure is pretty.

Today is just a really good day. I got so many things to do and not enough time, but I am still in an awesome mood.  Its Friday, payday, meet up with a dear friend for dinner day, make a gazillion cupcakes day and shop for a baby shower present day. So excited for the weekend, My Nana is turning 70 and my family is putting together a big party tomorrow. (why I'm making cupcakes) and I just love my family and getting together with all of them. It will also be the first time a lot of my family will meet man hands so I'm excited for that as well.

Oh I have also been planning a baby shower that has been challenging for me, its seahawks theme. I wanted it to be cute baby and seahawk as well. I couldn't find anything that fit that so I have been making a Flag Banner for baby Leon. I am not done but I will post pics when i am done. The shower was for last week but we had to cancel it due to a funeral so its been rescheduled for tomorrow morning brunch....so much to do tonight!
