Nursing Stella my 11 month old to sleep and sitting on the floor of Autumn my 2 1/2 year old's room trying to get her to bed

8:20 pm

Put Stella in her crib and tell Autumn I will be right back, she is okay with that.

8:45 pm 
Autumn tells me she doesn't want to sleep because I am going to leave, my heart breaks. 
She used to sleep well on her own and didn't need me to sit with her, we took the Binky away about 2 months ago and that changed. The adjustment hasn't been that easy, but after I realized that letting her cry isn't working for any of us it's been easier or at least less stressful and less fighting.

9:00 pm

"fancy tea, deserves a fancy cup" he says

Autumn finally fell asleep and in walks man hands aka Daddy. He is home from work. I shoe him out, don't you dare wake up the girl. 

He brought me home some fancy tea and was excited to make me a cup. It was so nice. 

9:30 pm

Stella wakes up. I nurse her back to sleep and put her back in her crib. 

9:45 pm

Man hands and I finish watching our shows.

10:30 pm

Crawl into bed.

10:45 pm

Stella wakes up, I nurse her back to sleep and end up falling asleep myself. 

4:00 am

Man hands' alarms (he has two and I do not like them) start going off and I realize the girls have made a mommy sandwich. Stella is nursing and Autumn is pressed against my back. This is leaving hardly any room for a full grown man, so he is sleeping in the edge. Poor guy. This is how we sleep most nights...actually I normally end up at the foot of the bed nursing Stella and Autumn takes over my spot.

Autumn decides it's time for everyone to wake up. 

Someone please bring me coffee

5:20 am 

Man hands leaves for work, he waited for me to take a shower and brought the diaper bag out to my car for me. Bless him.

5:45 am 

Hair dried and somewhat dressed, I could change my outfit again but the girls are getting restless. Being up so early neither one is going to be happy for long. I decide we should get in the car fast and maybe get breakfast and gas. 

6:00 am 

The plan was a no go. Suzy the dog needed to pee and Autumn needed shoes and socks. Stella was ultra fussy and wanted to boob. She got her way and fell asleep. 

6:15 am

Now it's really time to start heading to car. 

Stella of course wakes up as soon as I pick her up (the poor girl has never been able to sleep good). I get her in the car and Autumn starts running back to the house screaming something about wanting a shirt. I have no idea why because for one she has a shirt on and two she picked it out. Toddlers.

6:25 am

Get my screaming toddler in the car and strapped up. No time for breakfast now but I do still need gas. She screams all the way there while taking off her shoes. 

6:35 am 

We arrive at daycare. No shoes, no socks, it's raining. Carry both girls in, thankfully Mrs. Kathy sees me and grabs Autumn from me. 

6:50 am

I finally leave after threats from Autumn about how she is going to go in the kitchen and throw a fit. 

I hate this, she wants me. She tells me. It's been like this for going on 2 months. I guess it just comes with the age, but that doesn't make it any easier. 

Time to head to the train station and get to work. My day is just beginning and I am exhausted already. Tonight when I pick them up from their grandparents house we will do the same thing all over again. Thankfully man hands doesn't work tomorrow so I don't have to take them to daycare. 

I know things won't be like this forever and I often take time to enjoy the stage of like we are in. It could be worse, it could be better, but this is my life and I love every crazy moment of it. (Even if I am exhausted and want to give up)

moments to remember

Becoming a mom and a wife in one year has been amazing. There are moments I don't want to forget and am afraid I am going to forget.

Holding Autumn for the first time I will never forget, but I don't want to forget how much I missed her when I wasn't holding her. For the longest time when I was away from her it felt like a part of me was missing...I don't want to forget how I felt alone and that no one understood how I felt except my husband. The three months I spent with her at home were wonderful and I never want to forget them. I was also getting ready for my wedding (here was only 11 weeks from her birth to our wedding date and I had things to make)That was tough but I managed...actually I decided holding my baby was more important than stressing over details to our wedding. I don't regret it. The day was perfect anyway. I got married to a wonderful man and that's what the day was for anyway.
That's a day I will never forget, knowing my husband arrived at the venue made me SO happy and seeing him in his tux drinking champagne with me before our ceremony is a moment I will never forget. I can't remember what we said to each other now but I remember I couldn't take my eyes off of him and I couldn't stop laughing and smiling.
Our photographer did an amazing job capturing the whole day so that we wont forget it.

Produce love

In the beginning of the year I signed us up for organic produce delivery...I love that every week they send me a small box of stuff and I don't have to think about what I wanna buy. Sometimes we get strange things like celaric...but I look up how to cook it and we try something new. Man hands likes it too, although he doesn't like the mass grapefruit we have been getting but I do! I will just have to remember to go and swap that out next week.

We eat so much more healthy...yay!

It's day 6 of my green smoothie. So far the scale says -2lbs. Crossing my fingers the numbers keep dropping. The last few weeks they keep going up and down the same few lbs. Not cool!

Well its off for a busy weekend.

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend filled with lots of adventures. Man hands is working all weekend long hours, so I have the house to myself! I plan on taking some new pictures for my etsy shop and cleaning with the music up loud!

My dear blogger friends I have been away for some time. Sorry. This year seems to have happened so fast and with so many exciting changes in my life I don't know how to keep up.

About a month and a half ago we found out we are expecting a child...July 15th is the due date. So that puts me at 11 weeks preggo and that would make the conception date...(I'm guessing) the week we got engaged...apparently we move fast! HA!

So as you can guess things have been a little crazy with me as I have put it all together...planning a Wedding and now a baby is going to be tricky. I can definitely handle it though.

It's pretty drab here today and its Monday... Where did the weekend go? Mine was filled with a TON of friends and family. Man Hands and I had our engagement party this weekend. We had a wonderful time!

Man Hands got down on one knee and asked me to marry him saturday morning at the river. It was beautiful and perfect! I said YES (well I shook my head yes till the words would come out)

I am so happy I can't even stand it.

Thank you all so much for your advice on my little fight the other day. I met up with his Sister-in-Law for some wine tasting and talking after work came home and we were fine.

Tonight we are going to Leavenworth, WA  for Oktoberfest! We had so much fun last year and I can't wait to get there!!

This bacon popcorn looks really yummy; I am just having the regular kind with apples, OJ and some coffee. Its making me feel a bit better. Man hands and I are fighting, silly stuff really but it doesn't make for a happy morning. I don't want to back down and I am sure he wont either (we are both really stubborn) but I want to make it better.

Manic Monday

I have been so Busy lately; there has been no time to post. Please forgive me.

Quick update of this weekend (remember the wedding I was so nervous about going to) Well Sister and I made the cake and it turned out amazing! everyone loved it and even came back for seconds!! I was more working the whole time than being a guest but that's OK. If we want to start our own business then that's what I have to do, right? Also the ex, saw him and I don't know why I was so nervous...um gross! I am so much happier with my life I ooze happiness. lol

Happy (Friday) Thoughts

3 things that have made me happy this week...

1.) getting back into yoga class. I have missed it so much!

ha ha this cracked me up, sometimes this is how i feel. {via}

2.) The beginning of the best season, autumn! It's time to break out the fall decor and light the cinnamon candles. Chilly nights cuddled by the fire drinking tea and watching movies, frosty windows in the morning and foggy cities, leaf piles and crispy apples, trick or treating and scary movies...I really don't think there is one thing about this season that I don't like.

3.) It hasn't happened yet but Double Date night tonight! Man hands and I have set up his boss and Livi on a blind date. We are just going to a local restaurant to have some dinner and drinks. It will be a good time.

 I can't forget about my secret getaway this weekend! So happy it's Friday and the weekend is here!

Chips and salsa for breakfast...

Yes that's what I am having for breakfast, don't judge me. I went to the gym this morning so it's allowed right? Oh who am I kidding, I would have still eaten them if I didn't go. Sometimes I just can't wait till lunch; I am not the most patient of people at times.

A few things I can't wait for (unfortunately I have too) are...

1.) This weekend I am taking a secret getaway with Livi to Portland. We are going on a Distillery tour and then hitting the dance floor. Then Sunday on our way home we are going Zip Lining...eek! It's going to be so  much fun!!

2.) Oktoberfest in Leavenworth! Man Hands and I went last year with some friends and we had so much fun! This year I got a corset to go with my beer girl costume (man hands has the lederhosen) hopefully we will make it into the ACTUAL festival tents this year. What should we do first? {wine tasting, cheese tasting, giant pretzels, beer drinking, brats} This is going to become a tradition for me and it helps that man hands is German.

3.) Holiday craft bazaars! I have been working on some fall flowers and need to get on some winter ones too. I am also working on some wedding flowers as well. ooh they are so pretty, I can't wait to show it off when it's all finished.

Sunday Funday

So since man hands has moved in with me there is no avoiding watching football all the time; or any sports for that matter. Since its football season any and all Sunday activities will have to be put on hold till after the season. *sigh*

Today I will be going back to the Women’s Shelter to start crafts with the kids again. I am going to try something a little different and hope it works better. Instead of a small project once a week, we will be doing a bigger project that will take 2-3 days once a month. Today is the first day. I found an awesome paper-mâché pumpkin from Art projects for kids and thought it would be a good one to start with for fall.

So yesterday I made the sample and watched football with man hands and his BFF (they were going to make one also but couldn’t bring them selves to, MEN) I also had to collect plastic bags and a lot of them! So I had friends that don’t use reusable bags save them for me. I came home yesterday with a gazillion bags. HA HA. So tonight I will be hauling all the bags and my sample pumpkin to the shelter; can’t wait to see how they all look when we are finally finished on Wednesday. I will be sure to post pictures since I didn't get one of my sample.

Oh and BTW I am kicking some serious booty in my Fantasy Football league this week...who says you have to know that much about football. ha ha and as I was going through the Sunday paper I found this comic

HA HA it made me chuckle cause it's a perfect example of my favorite team last year and why I choose them the year before they won the Superbowl. So I clipped it out and placed it on the fridge...I need some more magnets, gotta look for some cute ones.

Well its the last day till my (hopefully) future brother in law gets married...as soon as Sunday morning comes we are headed off to go camping and going to the Cle Elum fair.

Monday night man hands gave me my  birthday present early. He asked me if I wanted to wait for Friday and duh I am not that patient. So he made me sit on the edge of the bed hold out my hands and close my eyes, then he hands me a pink ipod nano with an arm band so I can work out with it.. I think the last thing I had was a disk man like 10 years ago and for a while I was thinking I was the only person in the WORLD that didn't have one. yup, I have even seen tiny humans (children) with them. I am a shame to my tech savvy generation, I know.

5:30 this morning I went to the gym with my dear friend Livi! I even left the house while man hands was still brushing his teeth...just kissed his cheek good-by. (wonder what went through his head...I am normally  still sleeping when he leaves)
