Zebra Wedding Cake

Check out this fun cake my sister and I made this weekend for my Friends wedding.

We were so excited to make her wedding cake and that she wanted Zebra stripes! The original picture she showed me for an example was a little cheesy for our style so we took it and made it ours.

Still super busy at work so not much time for blogging, boohoo.

Happy Monday! Last week kicked my butt I am determined to have a good week this week! plus Halloween is coming! I gotta get costumes together!

Manic Monday

I have been so Busy lately; there has been no time to post. Please forgive me.

Quick update of this weekend (remember the wedding I was so nervous about going to) Well Sister and I made the cake and it turned out amazing! everyone loved it and even came back for seconds!! I was more working the whole time than being a guest but that's OK. If we want to start our own business then that's what I have to do, right? Also the ex, saw him and I don't know why I was so nervous...um gross! I am so much happier with my life I ooze happiness. lol

who wants cake?

So about 6 month or so ago Olivia wanted to plan a special party for her parents 30 year anniversary. They chose to renew their vows this year as a way of celebrating. Olivia knows I love to make cakes and all that is crafty, so I volunteered my skills and started working on the roses (they take a while) and as we all know my sister has been in pastry school and can bake a mean cake. So we teamed up and put in about 30 hours or so to make this very special Wedding cake.

As a result Sister and I have decided we want to make cakes together in the future and who knows maybe it could become a full time thing...
